You may remember last month I worked with Football League charity partner Prostate Cancer UK to pull together the all-time greatest Coventry City number nines.

Well, that’s not all they’re doing. Throughout the season they’ve been picking the top number nine from the three leagues after each weekend of games, and this week our very own Cody McDonald has been chosen for League One.

It’s a smidge embarrassing as nobody’s particular sure if the goal was even his – lots of fans are calling it a clear own goal, and the highlights online are bloody impossible to decipher. But either way, his contribution was enough to earn the Sky Blues their first league victory of the season, and himself their weekly prize.

Marvellous effort, there.
