I love ambition, me. Can’t get enough of the stuff. But I couldn’t help raising an eyebrow when I read Jordan Clarke’s interview in the Coventry Telegraph this week:
He talks about his frustrations and this being one of his worst starts to a season since he was a kid. He also mentions being on the verge of knocking on the manager’s door.
Crikey, he’s keen. He’s the baby of our squad – there’s absolutely no rush for him.
It’s a positive interview because he acknowledges now that thinking like that was a bit silly. But remember, you’ve only just started, Jordan. Just learn your trade and bide your time son.
