This week: While Neil’s off ensuring the Sky Blues are fantastic for the next update of Football Manager, the Niis discuss yet another terrific victory, take a trip down managerial memory lane, and will have you screaming the answer of Going for Gould at your phone while you listen to this on the bus.

Contains a mention of Mathieu Manset almost as brief as his stay.

  1. Thanks for another great show, even in the absence of one key Lamptey. Really enjoyed it this week, particularly the reminiscing on the Dowie-Coleman years. The primacy of the present moment means I forget just how angry I was watching the 1-4 defeat away at Charlton in Amsterdam.(as it developed over Internet, admittedly). Time flies, City till I die, it’s only a game.

    1. Glad you enjoyed the show big man.

I too had to absorb the Charlton result from afar – I had no idea how close we actually came to going down until I returned home to find my mate lying in a pile of his own fingernails.

Back then it seemed as though relegation would be the end of the world. If only we knew.
