And he isn’t in everyone’s good books.
Notts County’s Liam Walker is one person who doesn’t seem very happy with Michael Doyle’s contribution on Saturday. We all acknowledge that the weekend was a rough old battle, with plenty of tasty challenges from both sides and a particularly manic performance by the returning tackler-in-chief.
But as the wonderfully well-hashtagged Instagram image below shows, our new captain is accused of leaving a very visible mark on County’s Gibraltar international (while taking a chunk out of a previously well-established abdominal one).
I can’t say I remember specifically which tackle would have caused this so it’s hard to know just how guilty he is. But either way, it’s going to take more than a drop of TCP to tidy it up.
Bastard Factor™, indeed.
First game of the season get this from a sh..t tackle even taking a piece of birth mark out and didnt even get a free kick for it!! 🤣🤣 great decision Ref 🤓. #football #disgustingtackle #doyle #coventry #nottscounty #takemorethanthattobringmedown #partofthejob #moments #2017 #like #like4like #instalike #follow #follow4follow #followme #instafollow #picoftheday #instadaily 🙏🏼
