Watcha. How's it going?
You know, before the season started my interest in Coventry was waning. It felt as though the life had been sapped from me, and with everything that was going on with admin and this bloody move away from the Ricoh, I couldn't feel any enjoyment. I mean, how could I? How could we?
Now, that's still true in most respects - it's impossible to truly enjoy a season I'm having very little exposure to - but I can't deny that my interest with this bunch of players has risen since we got back to the pitch. Knowing me like I do, there's a sense of inevitability about that response. I find I'm keeping all my anger and frustration for during the week, and resurrect my support and focus for Sunday best.
Here we are again - this is the third ramble in a month discussing Preston North End, and you'll forgive me if it all gets a bit samey. Preston are tough, we've been a bit limp against them, and Graham Westley annoys most people for acting so relentless like an angry PE teacher.
What's that, there's a chance that he might sue..... Oh hang on - he already has.
With an unbeaten run as long as your arm, culminating in an righteous spanking of Doncaster last weekend, things just got interesting. Very interesting.
Next up, we welcome our long-time Championship foes Preston to the Ricoh for a game of "Who can stop the Sky Blues express and its rampant nature".
